The body in relation to time, memory, and feeling are key aspects of my work.
In my practice I explore the feeling of movement, temporary action and everyday experience. I’m interested in not only representing human form, figuratively, but also using drawing and painting as a tool in which to express and hold on to temporary states of being, revealing the beauty of habitual actions. In this way I describe sensation through abstracted imagery and mark making to give ‘feeling’ a visual language, and ephemeral moments permanence.
